Alderman for the Town of Jonesboro

Caption
Advisory opinion that the Code of Governmental Ethics would not prohibit a recently elected Alderman for the Town of Jonesboro from continuing to provide compensated services to the Jonesboro Housing Authority, as the Jonesboro Housing Authority is a political subdivision of the state and independent of the Town of Jonesboro. Further, the Alderman would not be prohibited from participating in the appointments of members to the Jonesboro Housing Authority.
