4. <br /> Learning Solutions, Inc., is a Louisiana incorporated non-profit organization, that was in <br /> effect at all times pertinent herein. Learning Solutions, Inc., and its Board of Directors are the <br /> Charter Operators of the Vision Academy. <br /> 5. <br /> LaToya Jackson entered into a written agreement with Learning Solutions, Inc., to be the <br /> Charter School Director in 2013,which continued until June 30,2015. On July 1,2015,Ms.Jackson <br /> entered into an indefinite term contract with Learning Solutions, Inc., to serve as the Executive <br /> Director and Ms. Jackson has continuously served in this capacity at all times pertinent herein. <br /> 6. <br /> LaToya Jackson's employment agreement as Charter School Director provided that,as Head <br /> of School, she would provide leadership and direction to the staff, including but not limited to the <br /> Director of Finance and Operations, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Director of School <br /> culture, and other administrative staff, consultants, administrative assistant, and all teachers. Ms. <br /> Jackson's duties also included hiring, evaluating, and terminating staff. <br /> 7. <br /> LaToya Jackson's employment agreement as Executive Director provided that Ms.Jackson <br /> assumes control and management of the entire administrative processes of the operation of the <br /> Learning Solutions, Inc.; is responsible for the hiring, firing, and management of all contractors, <br /> faculty, staff,and employees of all organizations schools; and,is responsible for the supervision of <br /> the entire operation of the Vision Academy. <br /> Page 2 of 9 <br />
