ORDER <br /> FOR THE FOREGOING REASONS: <br /> IT IS ORDERED that LaToya Jackson,in her capacity as the Charter School Director and <br /> Executive Director of Learning Solutions, Inc., and the Vision Academy Charter School, violated <br /> La. R.S.42:1112B(1)by participating in transactions—offering,approving, entering into contracts <br /> with Clark Entities,LLC,on behalf of the Learning Solutions,Inc./Vision Academy and approving <br /> payments by Learning Solutions,Inc./Vision Academy to Clark Entities,LLC—in which her sister, <br /> Bridgette Clark, had a substantial economic interest as the sole member/owner of Clark Entities, <br /> LLC. <br /> IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that a$5,000.00 civil penalty,payable to the Treasurer of the <br /> State of Louisiana,is hereby assessed upon LaToya Jackson and that in the event of a failure to pay, <br /> the Board may file suit to compel immediate payment of any balance due. <br /> Page 7 of 9 <br />
