Based on the foregoing facts, Jerome Richard used approximately $37,000 in campaign
funds for his personal use in violation of La. R.S. 18:1505.2I(1).

Jerome Richard failed to disclose or accurately disclose contributions accepted and
expenditures made totaling approximately $37,000 related to his personal use of his campaign
funds on campaign finance disclosure reports.

La. R.S. 18:1495.5B(2) provides that a candidate shall disclose the total of all
contributions received and accepted by the candidate during the reporting period.

La. R.S. 18:1495.5B(4) requires that each report contain the fall name and address of
each person who has made a contribution which has been received and accepted by the candidate
during the reporting period.
9.
La. R.S. 18:1495.5B(11) provides that a candidate shall disclose the total of all
expenditures made by the candidate during the reporting period.
10.
La. R.S. 18:1495.5B(12) requires that each report contain the fall name and address of
each person to whom an expenditure has been by the candidate during the reporting period.
