Between 2018 and 2020, while Precious Phillips served as Cheer Sponsor at JFES, the <br /> WWC conducted two Popcorn Fundraisers and three Pizza Fundraisers. Additionally, the WWC <br /> individually paid cheerleading fees for two school terms to Cheer Sponsor, Precious Phillips. <br /> Therefore, Precious Phillips' received a total of$5,615.00 in unauthorized compensation: <br /> (a) 2018 to 2019, Popcorn Fundraiser: $1,165.00; <br /> (c) 2019 to 2020, Popcorn Fundraiser: $987.00; <br /> (b) 2019 to 2020, 3 Pizza Fundraisers: $413.00; <br /> (d) 2018 to 2019, Cheerleader Dues/Fees: $2,150.00; and <br /> (e) 2019 to 2020, Cheerleader Dues/Fees: $450.00. <br /> 7. <br /> Precious Phillips admitted her receipt of $5,165 she received while serving as Cheer <br /> Sponsor at JFES. <br /> 8. <br /> On Precious Phillips pled guilty to misdemeanor theft with respect to the receipt of the <br /> monies referenced herein. Precious Phillips was ordered to pay restitution to Caddo School Board <br /> in the amount of$2,501.94. <br /> 9. <br /> As of November 11, 2022, Precious Phillips has made payments towards the balance of <br /> restitution owed totaling $305.00. <br /> IV. <br /> PROVISIONS OF LAW: <br /> 10. <br /> La.
