5. <br /> Alton McClinton's duties and responsibilities as Building Inspector for DICE did not include <br /> receiving cash payments in exchange for permits or issuance of compliant reports and permits. <br /> 6. <br /> Beginning not later than January 2014, and continuing through at least August 18. 2017. <br /> Alton McClinton solicited and received payments of between $150 and $500 in exchange for <br /> issuing either(1)a report reflecting that no zooming violation had occurred when, in fact,one had <br /> occurred, and (2) an inspection report reflecting that Alton McClinton had inspected a particular <br /> building and that the building complied with Jefferson Parish's building codes when, in fact.Alton <br /> McClinton had not inspected the building. <br /> 7. <br /> On April 24. 2019, Alton McClinton plead guilty to receiving the total of not less than <br /> $3,000 in bribe payments to influence his duties and responsibilities while serving as Building <br /> Inspector. <br /> 8. <br /> Alton McClinton was ordered to pay a fine of$1000 By the United States Easter District Court <br /> Judge Jay Zainey in Case 2:19-cr-00019-JCZ-JVM. <br /> 9. <br /> Alton McClinton paid in full his fine of$3,000 to the United States Easter District Court in Case <br /> 2:19-cr-00019-JCZ-JVM. <br /> Page 3 of 9 <br />
