Ms.Johnson was paid$4,000.00 <br /> per month for her services and continued on a perpetual basis until terminated. <br /> i <br /> g• <br /> GEO Foundation issued 1099-NEC Tax Forms to Linda Johnson evidencing payment from <br /> GEO Foundation to Ms. Johnson of$36,000.00 in 2020, $42,000.00 in 2021, $46,281.62 in 2022 <br /> and$12,000.00 in 2023. <br /> 9. <br /> If called to testify,GEO Foundation would state that it did not intentionally violate the Code <br /> of Governmental Ethics as it was not aware that making such payments to Ms. Johnson was <br /> prohibited. It would also state that after it became aware of any potential violations,corrective action <br /> was taken,the potential violations were reported to the Board,and it cooperated in the investigation. <br /> i <br /> i <br /> IV. <br /> PROVISIONS OF LAW: <br /> 1. <br /> La.
