E'9 H"S BOARD EC <br /> 1=T 30'24 Am9:5 <br /> LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> BD NO. 2023-659 <br /> IN THE MATTER OF <br /> LINDA JOHNSON <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics(the"Board"),pursuant to the authority contained in La.R.S. <br /> 42:1141,conducted a confidential investigation concerning information that Linda Johnson received <br /> a thing of economic value for services rendered to Greater Education Opportunities Foundation,Inc. <br /> (GEO Foundation)while she served as a member of the GEO Academies EBR Board of Directors <br /> and while GEO Academies EBR had a contractual, business and financial relationship with GEO <br /> Foundation in derogation of La. R.S 42:1111C(2)(d). <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation, and with the concurrence of <br /> Linda Johnson, the Board now makes the following essential: <br /> I. <br /> PARTIES <br /> The Parties hereto are <br /> Linda Johnson, a person of the full age of majority, domiciled in the Parish of <br /> Iberville with a last known address of P.O. Box 866, Plaquemine, LA 70765; and, <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics, a Louisiana State agency domiciled in East Baton <br /> Rouge Parish whose mailing address is P.O. Box 4368, Baton Rouge, Louisiana <br /> 70821. <br />
