Ethics Board Docket Nos. 2023-659 <br /> Page 4 of 11 <br /> 2019,GEO Foundation and GEO Academies entered into a Management Agreement for GEO Next <br /> Generation High School Charter School. <br /> 5. <br /> Linda Johnson served as an appointed member of the GEO Academies EBR Board of <br /> Directors from 2013 until her resignation on June 15, 2023. <br /> 6. <br /> In June 2020, GEO Foundation and Linda Johnson entered into an independent consulting <br /> contract with services to be provided as needed from July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021. Ms. <br /> Johnson signed the contract on June 25,2020 and GEO Foundation signed the contract on June 29, <br /> 2020. Ms. Johnson was paid $3,000.00 per month as needed. The services to be provided were <br /> consultant to aid in the growth in Louisiana and community relations. <br /> 7. <br /> On February10,2022,GEO Foundation and Linda Johnson entered into a contract where Ms. <br /> Johnson was to provide interaction with the local educational system including the Louisiana State <br /> Board of Education;be available for interviews,tours,workshops and parent meetings as required; <br /> advocate on behalf of GEO Foundation to promote expansion of opportunity in Baton Rouge;work <br /> with various advocacy groups to shed positive light on the schools. Ms.Johnson was paid$4,000.00 <br /> per month for her services and continued on a perpetual basis until terminated. <br />
