The Department <br /> is divided into three shifts. Mr. Ricky Heinen is in charge of one of those shifts as District Chief. <br /> The District Chiefs are responsible for the day-to-day operations, including, but not limited to, <br /> disciplinary action suggestions. The Fire Department is looking to hire John Heinen, the son of <br /> Ricky Heinen, as a firefighter. <br /> PROPOSED DISQUALIFICATION PLAN <br /> As with all firefighters, decisions regarding disciplinary actions,promotions, and salary increases <br /> are made by Fire Chief Louis Romero Jr. and/or Mayor Chad Monceaux. In addition, all <br /> firefighters in the Crowley Fire Department are directly supervised by Drivers and Captains. As a <br /> further precaution, District Chief Ricky Heinen will be specifically instructed in writing by Fire <br /> Chief Louis Romero Jr.that he is not to be involved with his son's employment in matters affecting <br /> supervision, discipline promotions, and salary increases. <br /> LAW <br /> La.
