• LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> DATE: May 21, 2010 OPINION NO.: 2007-272 <br /> RE: In the matter of Julie Quinn <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics, in its capacity as the Supervisory Committee on <br /> Campaign Finance Disclosure (the "Board"), conducted a confidential investigation <br /> concerning campaign finance disclosure reports that were not accurately filed by Julie Quinn <br /> in connection with her campaigns in the October 5,2002,June 4,2005,and October 20,2007 <br /> Senate elections. The Board issued the following charges: <br /> I. <br /> That Julie Quinn, in her capacity as a candidate for Jefferson Parish School <br /> Board in the in the October 5, 2002 election, may have violated Section <br /> 1505.1C of the Campaign Finance Disclosure Act ('`CFDA") (La. R.S. <br /> d <br /> • 18:1505.1 C)by failing to accurately file supplemental reports by February 15`h <br /> ise osing campaign activity for said election in the prior calendar year. <br /> H. <br /> That Julie Quinn, in her capacity as a candidate for State Senate, District 6, in <br /> the in the June 4, 2005 election, may have violated Section 1505.1C of the <br /> Campaign Finance Disclosure Act(`CFDA'')(La.R.S. 18:1505.1C)by failing <br /> to accurately file a fortieth day after the general election campaign finance <br /> disclosure report by August 18, 2005. <br /> IIL <br /> That Julie Quinn, in her capacity as a candidate for State Senate, District 6, in <br /> the in the June 4, 2005 election, may have violated Section 1505.1C of the <br /> Campaign Finance Disclosure Act("CFDA")(La.R.S. 18:1505.1C)by failing <br /> to accurately file supplemental reports by February 15`" disclosing campaign <br /> activity for said election in the prior calendar year. <br /> • <br />
