LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> BD NO: 2021-139 <br /> RE: IN THE MATTER OF EMERGENT METHOD, LLC <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics (the "BOE"), pursuant to the authority contained in the <br /> Louisiana Code of Governmental Ethics (the "Ethics Code"), La. R.S. 42:1101, et. seq., and <br /> particularly Section 1141 of the Ethics Code, conducted a confidential investigation concerning <br /> information that that Emergent Method, LLC a Louisiana limited liability company ("Emergent <br /> Method")may have violated Section 1117 of the Ethics Code by virtue of providing compensation <br /> to Rowdy Gaudet, which he was prohibited from receiving by Section 1111 C(2)(d) of the Ethics <br /> Code. <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation, and with the concurrence of <br /> Emergent Method, the BOE and Emergent Method enter into this Consent Opinion as follows: <br /> I. <br /> PARTIES: <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> Emergent Method,LLC, a Louisiana limited liability company with a last <br /> known address of 200 Laurel Street, Suite 200, Baton Rouge, Louisiana <br /> 70801; and <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics, a Louisiana State agency domiciled in <br /> East Baton Rouge Parish whose mailing address is P.O. Box 4368, Baton <br /> Rouge, Louisiana 70821. <br />
