LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> BD NO. 2023-688 <br /> IN THE MATTER OF <br /> DARRIN DIXON <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics(the"Board"),pursuant to the authority contained in La. R.S. <br /> 42:1141, conducted a confidential investigation concerning information that Darrin Dixon was <br /> appointed to a position on the Caddo Parish School Board by the Caddo Parish School Board within <br /> two years of the termination of his term on the Caddo Parish School Board in derogation of La. R.S <br /> 42:1121 A(2). <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation, and with the concurrence of <br /> Darrin Dixon, the Board now makes the following essential: <br /> I. <br /> PARTIES <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> Darrin Dixon,a person of the full age of majority, domiciled in the Parish of Caddo; <br /> and, <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics, a Louisiana State agency domiciled in East Baton <br /> Rouge Parish. <br />
