LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> IN THE MATTER OF CONSENT ORDER NO.: 2015-845 <br /> SARA BRUMFIELD <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics("the Board"), after conducting a confidential investigation, <br /> pursuant to La. R.S. 42:1141 now makes the following findings: <br /> 1. <br /> Sara Brumfield has been continuously employed as the Judicial Administrator for the <br /> Twenty-First Judicial District Court(Court) since September 18,2002. <br /> 2. <br /> As Judicial Administrator, Ms. Brumfield's duties include overseeing and managing the <br /> general operations of the Court and its personnel;directing accounting,personnel,payroll,statistics, <br /> purchasing and property management/inventory functions; and assisting with planning and <br /> implementation of special projects and programs,grants and other funding applications and progress <br /> reports required for such projects at the direction of the judges of the Court. <br /> 3. <br /> Brandon Andrews is the son of Sara Brumfield. <br /> 4. <br /> Brandon Andrews is the sole Manager and Member of J & B Industries, LLC, which was <br /> organized with the Secretary of State's Office on May 5, 2006. <br /> 5. <br /> Since at least 2011,the Court has operated a Drug Court Program,which is funded by a grant <br /> from the Louisiana Supreme Court. <br /> Page 1 of 9 <br />
