You are employed by <br /> LSUHSC as the Director of Academic Affairs in the Office of Academic Affairs. You report to Dr. <br /> Jennifer Woerner,Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.Your duties include,but are not limited to, <br /> coordination and implementation of pre-clinical and clinical curriculum; compliance with <br /> accreditation standards; review of all student program evaluations of courses, clerkships, and <br /> teaching sessions; work collaboratively with health science partners to create opportunities for <br /> interprofessional education; and, other tasks as assigned by Dr. Woerner. <br /> In 2018, LSUHSC and Ochsner LSU Health System of North Louisiana ("Ochsner"), a private, <br /> nonprofit corporation, entered into a partnership for Ochsner to operate and provide for the day- <br /> to-day management of the hospitals and clinics owned by LSUHSC. Ochsner LSU Health also <br /> provides academic training in the medical profession to students outside of LSUHSC, through <br /> partnerships with local universities and schools. <br /> You intend to retire in the near future and are considering employment with Ochsner as Manager <br /> of Strategic Academic Operations. Your job duties in that role would include coordinating the <br /> development of annual goals;maintaining performance metrics;assisting with the preparation and <br /> coordination of academic strategic projects; and, focusing on support for academic program <br /> growth, residency training programs, and associated accreditation initiatives.
