LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> DATE: AUGUST 5,2022 BD NO: 2020-876 <br /> RE: IN THE MATTER OF STATE LINE VACUUM SERVICES, L.L.C. <br /> The Board of Ethics (the "BOE"), pursuant to the authority contained in the Louisiana <br /> Code of Governmental Ethics (hereinafter referred to as the "Ethics Code"), La. R.S. 42:1101, et. <br /> seq., and particularly Section 1141 of the Ethics Code, conducted a confidential investigation <br /> concerning information that State Line Vacuum Services, L.L.C., a Louisiana limited liability <br /> company("State Line")may have violated Section 1117 of the Ethics Code by virtue of providing <br /> a thing of economic value to Justin Childress while State Line had a business relationship with the <br /> agency for which Mr. Childress served as board member. <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation, and with the concurrence of <br /> State Line,the BOE and State Line enter into this Consent Opinion as follows: <br /> I. <br /> PARTIES: <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> State Line Vacuum Services,L.L.C., a Louisiana limited liability company, with <br /> an address of 10656 Highway 79, Haynesville, Louisiana 71038; and, <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics, a Louisiana State agency domiciled in East Baton <br /> Rouge Parish whose mailing address is P.O. Box 4368, Baton Rouge, Louisiana <br /> 70821. <br /> II. <br />
