Ethics Board Docket No. 2017-1219 <br /> Page 3 of 8 <br /> 6. <br /> Chastity Livingston admitted to the Louisiana State Police during an interview conducted <br /> on October 25, 2017, that she was involved in the improper transfer and receipt of money from <br /> Grambling State University to herself in the amount of $14,000 to which she was not duly <br /> entitled to receive for the performance of her job duties and responsibilities as Campus Card <br /> Manager. <br /> 7. <br /> Chastity Livingston has paid full restitution to Grambling State University. <br /> IV. <br /> PROVISIONS OF LAW: <br /> 8. <br /> Section 1111A(l)(a) of the Code of Governmental Ethics prohibits a public servant from <br /> receiving anything of economic value, other than compensation and benefits from the <br /> governmental entity to which he is duly entitled, for the performance of the duties and <br /> responsibilities of his office or position. <br /> 9. <br /> Section 1112A of the Code of Governmental Ethics prohibits a public servant, except as <br /> provided in R.S. 42:1120, from participating in a transaction in which she has a personal <br /> substantial economic interest of which she may be reasonably expected to know involving the <br /> governmental entity. <br />
