Box 4368, Baton <br /> Rouge, Louisiana 70821. <br /> II. <br /> JURISDICTION: <br /> 1. <br /> The BOE is an agency of the State of Louisiana domiciled in East Baton Rouge Parish, <br /> Louisiana. <br /> 2. <br /> The BOE is established as the Supervisory Committee on Campaign Finance Disclosure <br /> and is authorized to administer and enforce the provisions of the CFDA by virtue of Section 1511.1 <br /> of the CFDA. <br /> 3. <br /> The BOE is authorized to offer a Consent Opinion to Karen Carter Peterson by virtue of <br /> Title 52, Section 901A of the Louisiana Administrative Code. <br /> III. <br /> FINDINGS OF FACT: <br /> 3. <br /> Karen Carter Peterson was a successful candidate for State Senator, 5th Senatorial District, <br /> in the October 12, 2019 election. She was previously a successful candidate for State Senator, 5th <br /> Senatorial District in the October 24, 2015, October 22, 2011, and February 6, 2010 elections. <br /> 4. <br /> For the years 2012 through 2020, Karen Carter Peterson served as the chairperson of <br /> Louisiana Democrats, a political committee (the "Committee"). <br />
