LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> RE: IN THE MATTER OF BOARD NO: 2019-592 <br /> ALTON MCCLINTON <br /> The Board of Ethics (the "BOE"), pursuant to the authority contained in the Louisiana <br /> Code of Governmental Ethics (hereinafter as the"Ethics Code"), La. R.S. 42:1101, et., seq., and <br /> particularly Section 1141 of the Ethics Code, conducted a confidential investigation concerning <br /> information that Alton McClinton, in the course of his position as Building Inspector for the <br /> Jefferson Parish Department of Inspection and Code Enforcement for receiving at least $3,000 in <br /> compensation for the performance of his duties and responsibilities as Building Inspector to which <br /> he was not duly entitled to receive. <br /> On the basis on information obtained during the investigation,and with the concurrence of <br /> Alton McClinton, the BOE and Alton McClinton enter into this Consent Opinion as follows: <br /> 1. <br /> PARTIES: <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> Alton McClinton,a person of the full age of majority,domiciled in the Parish of Orleans, <br /> State of Louisiana,whose mailing address is declared to be 2552 Benefit St.,New Orleans, <br /> LA 70122; and <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics,a Louisiana State Agency,domiciled in East Baton Rouge <br /> Parish whose mailing address is P.O.
