In that role, you provide various informational technology <br /> services,including developing and maintaining web applications for Louisiana State Police,Office <br /> of Motor Vehicles and the state crime laboratory. <br /> You are considering leaving your current position to be employed by Optima Business Solutions, <br /> LLC ("Optima"). Optima provides technology staffing, consulting and software solutions, <br /> including for certain agencies of the State of Louisiana. Your role at Optima would include <br /> software development and application maintenance. The employment at Optima would include <br /> projects related to systems similar to or associate with those you worked on in your role at DPS, <br /> though you are willing to refrain from engaging in any projects which would represent a violation <br /> of't1e Louisiana Code of Governmental Ethics. <br /> You would like to know what measures you can take to prevent a violation of the Louisiana Code <br /> of Governmental Ethics. Specifically, you would like to know if there are any limitations or <br /> conditions on your interactions with Louisiana state agencies on behalf of Optima. <br /> LAW <br /> La.
