See the attached chart for information concerning the particular boards and <br /> commissions. Section 1124.2.1 mandates financial disclosure for each member and each <br /> designee of a member of a board or commission that has the authority to expend, disburse <br /> or invest ten thousand dollars or more of funds in a fiscal year. The term "boards and <br /> commissions"includes each board, commission or like entity created by the constitution,by <br /> law, by a political subdivision, except as provided in Subparagraph(b), or jointly by two or <br /> more political subdivisions as a governing authority of a political subdivision, of the state, <br /> or of a local government.The term"boards and commissions"does not include the governing <br /> authority of a parish or a municipality, any board or commission or like entity that governs <br /> a political subdivision created by a single parish governing authority in a parish with a <br /> population of 200,000 or less, or any subdistrict of such a political subdivision, or any board <br /> or commission or like entity that governs a political subdivision created by a single municipal <br /> governing authority in a municipality with a population of 25,000 or less, or any subdistrict <br /> of such a political subdivision. According the figures from the 2000 census, Orleans Parish <br /> has a population of more than 200,000 and the City of New Orleans has a population of more <br /> than 25,000.
