Agency Tracking leo, 2023-417 <br /> Page 6 of 9 <br /> transaction involving the agency of such public servant or who derives any thing of <br /> economic value of which he may be reasonably expected to know through a person <br /> which (1) is regulated by the agency of such public servant, or has bid on or <br /> entered into or is in any way financially interested In any contract,subcontract,or any <br /> transaction under the supervision or j urisdiction of the agency of such public servant <br /> shall disclose certain info rmati on as set forth in Section 1114. <br /> (e) Law R.S.39:1233.1 Notwithstanding ithstanding any provision of Chapter 15 of Title <br /> 42 of the Revised Statutes of 1950 or any other lave to the contrary, any momber of <br /> a local depositing authority,including the chief executive officer thereof,may serve <br /> as an officer, director,or employee,whether compensated or not, of any national or <br /> state bank; provided that he shall recuse himself from voting in favor of any such <br /> bank and shall disclose the reason for such recusal by filing same into the minutes or <br /> record of the local depositing authority and by forwarding a disclosure form to the <br /> Board of Ethics. <br /> (f) La. R.S. 42:1102(1 ) "Governmental entity's means the state or any <br /> political subdivision which employs the public employee or employed the former <br /> public employee or to which the elected.official is elected, as the ease may be. <br /> (g) La. R.S. 42:1102(17) "Political subdivision" means any unit of to cal <br /> government,including a special district,authorized by law to perform governmental <br /> functions. <br /> (h) La* R.S. 42:1102(18) "public EMpIp " to mean anyone, whether <br /> compensated or not,who is 1)an administrative officer or official of governmental <br /> entity who is not filling an elective office.(ii)appointed by any elected official when <br /> acting in an official capacity,and the appointment is to a post or position wherein the <br /> appointee is to serve the governmental entity or an agency thereof, either as a <br /> member of an agency,or as an employee thereof. (iii)engaged in the performance of <br /> a goverrnnental function.(iv)under the supervision or anthorlty of an elected official <br /> or another employee of the governmental entity. <br /> (D La.R.S.42:1102(19)defines"public servant"to mean a public employee <br /> or an elected official. <br />
