CONCLUSION <br /> The Board concluded, and instructed me to inform you, that the Code does not prohibit FFH, for <br /> a period of two years following your resignation from the Library Board, from rendering any <br /> service on a contractual basis to or for the libraries under the jurisdiction of the St. Charles Parish <br /> Library Board or other governmental agencies, local businesses, and industrial plants within St. <br /> Charles Parish. Further, FHH is not prohibited from assisting another person, for compensation, <br /> in a transaction,or in an appearance in connection with a transaction involving any libraries under <br /> the jurisdiction of the St. Charles Parish Library Board as long as you did not participate in the <br /> transaction while a member of the Library Board. In addition, you are prohibited, for two years <br /> from your resignation from the Library Board, from sharing in the receipt of any compensation <br /> received by FFH for assistance provided by FFH to the Library Board. <br /> Changes to the facts as presented may result in a different application of the provisions of the <br /> Louisiana Code of Governmental Ethics.
