Additionally, as a former public scrvant, La. R.S. 42:1121 C prohibits any legal entity in which you are an ofticer, director, trustee, partner, or employee, for a period of two years �following your retirement from public employmeilt on January 11, 2025, from assisting another person for con�pensation in a transaction or in an appearance in connection with a transaction in which you at any tiine participated during your public service and involving your former agency,the Injection and Mining llivision. CONCLUSION "I'he I3oard concluded and instructed me to inform you that the post-employment restrictions contained in tl�e Code, as explained in the above paragraphs,apply to you for a period of two years following your retirement on Januaxy 11, 2025. Thc Board also advised that, should a specilic situation arise that may pt•esent a �otential violation of the Code's post-employment restrictions, yoi:i should seek an updated advisory opinion.
