retirement fi-om public employment on .lanuary l 1, 2025, firom rendering any service, which you <br /> previously rendered to the Injection and Mining Division during the term of your public <br /> eil�ploymei�t on a contractual basis to, for, or on behalf of the Injection and Mini��g Division, <br /> regardless of the parties to the contract. <br /> Additionally, as a former public scrvant, La. R.S. 42:1121 C prohibits any legal entity in which you <br /> are an ofticer, director, trustee, partner, or employee, for a period of two years �following your <br /> retirement from public employmeilt on January 11, 2025, from assisting another person for <br /> con�pensation in a transaction or in an appearance in connection with a transaction in which you <br /> at any tiine participated during your public service and involving your former agency,the Injection <br /> and Mining llivision. <br /> CONCLUSION <br /> "I'he I3oard concluded and instructed me to inform you that the post-employment restrictions <br /> contained in tl�e Code, as explained in the above paragraphs,apply to you for a period of two years <br /> following your retirement on Januaxy 11, 2025. Thc Board also advised that, should a specilic <br /> situation arise that may pt•esent a �otential violation of the Code's post-employment restrictions, <br /> yoi:i should seek an updated advisory opinion. <br /> 'I,l�is advisory opinion is based solely on the facts as set forth herein. Changes to tl�e facts as <br /> presented may result in a different application of the provisions of tl�e Code o�f C'Jovernmental <br /> Fthics.
