LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> BD NO: 2021-889 <br /> RE: IN THE MATTER OF KEITH SCHROTH <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics (the `BOE"), pursuant to the authority contained in the <br /> Louisiana Code of Governmental Ethics (the "Ethics Code"), La. R.S. 42:1101, et. seq., and <br /> particularly Section 1141 of the Ethics Code, conducted a confidential investigation concerning <br /> information that Keith Schroth, in his capacity as an employee of Louisiana State University <br /> Health Sciences Center New Orleans, may have violated Section 1111A of the Ethics Code by <br /> virtue of additional compensation, which he was not duly entitled to receive without proper <br /> approval, for the performance of his duties and responsibilities as an employee. <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation, the BOE and Keith Schroth <br /> enter into this Consent Opinion as follows: <br /> I. PARTIES <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> Keith Schroth, a person of the full age of majority, domiciled in the Parish <br /> of Orleans with a last known address of 3239 Bloomingdale Court, New <br /> Orleans, Louisiana, 70125. <br /> and <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics, a Louisiana State agency domiciled in <br /> East Baton Rouge Parish whose mailing address is P.O. Box 4368, Baton <br /> Rouge, Louisiana 70821. <br />
