JURISDICTION <br /> l. <br /> The BOE is an agency of the State of Louisiana domiciled in East Baton Rouge Parish, <br /> Louisiana. <br /> 2. <br /> The BOE is authorized to offer a Consent Opinion to Keith Schroth by virtue of Section <br /> 1141C(3)(� of the Ethics Code. <br /> IIL FINDINGS OF FACT <br /> 3. <br /> Keith Schroth was an employee of the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center <br /> in New Orleans ("LSUHSC-NO") from July 1, 2007 until his retirement on January 19, 2022. <br /> 4. <br /> Mr. Schroth served as the LSUHSC-NO Vice Chancellor for Business Development until <br /> his appointment to Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance on or about November l,2020. <br /> 5. <br /> While Mr. Schroth served as Vice Chancellor for Business Development,he also served as <br /> Associate Dean of Fiscal Affairs, receiving supplemental compensation of$7,692 per month, for <br /> performing duties associated with the Associate Dean position. <br /> 6. <br /> Following his promotion to Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance, Mr. Schroth <br /> continued to receive monthly supplemental compensation payments in addition to his salary.
