LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> BD NO: 2022-060 <br /> RE: IN THE MATTER OF DONALD CRAVINS INSURANCE AGENCY <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics (the `BOE"), pursuant to the authority contained in the <br /> Louisiana Code of Governmental Ethics (the "Ethics Code"), La. R.S. 42:1101, et. seq., and <br /> particularly La. R.S. 42:1141, conducted a confidential investigation concerning information that <br /> Donald Cravins Insurance Agency, Incorporated ("DCIA"), may have violated La. R.S. <br /> 42:1113A(1)(a) of the Ethics Code by virtue of entering into a transaction under the supervision <br /> or jurisdiction of the agency of an immediate family member of Donald Cravins, who owns a <br /> controlling interest in DCIA. <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation,and with the concurrence of <br /> DCIA,the BOE and DCIA enter into this Consent Opinion as follows: <br /> I. <br /> PARTIES: <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> Donald Cravins Insurance Agency,Incorporated,a Louisiana corporation, with <br /> the last known address of 200 W. Pine Street, Lafayette,Louisiana 70501;and <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics, an agency of the State of Louisiana, whose <br /> mailing address is P.O. Box 4368, Baton Rouge,Louisiana 70821. <br /> H. <br /> JURISDICTION: <br /> 1. <br /> The BOE is an agency of the State of Louisiana domiciled in East Baton Rouge Parish. <br />
