Simno to assist the Parish <br /> Administration in identifying parish properties no longer neecled or in use in Disnict 5 for the <br /> purpose of offering them for sale. <br /> 7. <br /> Tn�'ebraary of 2022,Mr. Simno, in his capacity as District 5 Chief of Staff, issued r�uests <br /> to the Parish Administration,on key aspects af preparing a series of Hesper Avenue lots to be sold., <br /> including but nat limited ta lots at 1124 and 1132 Hesper Avenue. <br /> 8. <br /> At the November 16,2022 Council meeting,ti�e District 5 Councitmember mdved to adopt <br /> Ordinance Numbers 2b51 b and 2G517 declaring the 1124 and 1132 Hesper Lots were no longer <br /> needed for a pubiie purpose and to authorize the advertisement for their sale. The motions ca�ried <br /> unanimously. The intent was to sell both properties to the highest bidder via public bid. <br /> 9. <br /> Hesperus, LLC, is a limited Iiability campany registered to do and doing business in <br /> Louisiana. It is domiciled in Orleans Parish. Mr. Simno is a managing member af Hesperus,LLC <br /> and holds a 50 percent membership interest in HespeXus. <br /> 10. <br /> Soiicitations for bids an the 1124 and I 132 Hesper lots went public an February 8, 2023. <br /> B ids were opened at 2 p_m. on Mazch 9, 2U23. <br />
