Ethics Commission <br /> Opinion No. 93 -225 <br /> Page 4 <br /> entered into a fire protection contract. The TDVFD agreed to <br /> provide all of the fire protection services for Fire Protection <br /> District No. 3. The term of the contract was five years; however, <br /> the contract remains in place as of this date. <br /> 8. <br /> During the last four years, FAS has routinely conducted <br /> business with the TDVFD. FAS received income for services and <br /> equipment supplied to the TDVFD in the following amounts: <br /> 1990 -1991 $30,833.51 <br /> 1991 -1992 60,002.58 <br /> 1992 -1993 45,568.46 <br /> 1993 -1994 33,532.22 <br /> 1994 -Jan, 1995 6,675.68 <br /> 9. <br /> George Dyer and his assistant testified that the net profit <br /> to FAS from sales to the TDVFD were as follows: <br /> 1990 -1991 $ 5,066.59 <br /> 1991 -1992 12,226.88 <br /> 1992 -1993 1,613.10 <br /> 1993 -1994 5,082.16 <br /> 1994 -1995 821.25 <br /> These figures do not include deductions for general overhead <br /> expenses. <br /> 10. <br /> The employees, officers, and board members in general, and <br /> George Dyer in particular, are "public employees" for purposes of <br /> ..s <br />
