ORDER <br /> FOR THE FOREGOING REASONS: <br /> IT IS ORDERED that Maurice Brown violated La. R.S. 42:1111A, La. R.S. 42:1115 and <br /> La. R.S. 42:11 11 C(2)(d), from 2008 through 2010. at a time when he served as the Mayor for the <br /> Town of White Castle,when he agreed to receive and received a total value of$500 in cash,tickets <br /> and other gifts from CEFER 5000 at a time in which CIFER 5000 sought a contract with his agency. <br /> the Town of White Castle. <br /> U' IS FURTHER ORDERED that based upon Mr. Brown's sentence in the federal. <br /> investigation into this matter, including an 10 year prison sentence and$5.000 in restitution,that no <br /> further civil penalty be levied against Mr. Brown for the violations of the Louisiana Code of <br /> Governmental Ethics. <br /> Page 4.of 6 <br />
