Ethics Board Docket No. 2020-876 <br /> Page 7 of 9 <br /> VI. <br /> ORDER: <br /> For the foregoing reasons: <br /> IT IS ORDERED that Justin Childress violated Section 1111 C(2)(d) of the Ethics Code <br /> by virtue of receiving a thing of economic value for services rendered to State Line when State <br /> Line was seeking to do business with his agency and conducted business with his agency. <br /> IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Justin Childress violated Section 1112B(3) of the <br /> Ethics Code by virtue of his participation in the approval and execution of a transaction between <br /> his employer and his agency. <br /> IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that a$1,000 civil penalty, payable to the Treasurer of the <br /> State of Louisiana, be imposed upon Justin Childress and that in the event of a failure to pay, a suit <br /> may be filed to compel immediate payment of any balance due. <br />
