Ethics Board Docket No. 2020-876 <br /> Page 6 of 8 <br /> VI. <br /> ORDER: <br /> For the foregoing reasons: <br /> IT IS ORDERED that State Line, violated Section 1117 of the Ethics Code by virtue of <br /> providing a thing of economic value to Justin Childress for services rendered to State Line while <br /> State Line was seeking and had a business relationship with the agency for which Mr. Childress <br /> served as a board member. <br /> IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that a $500 civil penalty, payable to the Treasurer of the <br /> State of Louisiana,be imposed upon State Line and that in the event of a failure to pay, a suit may <br /> be filed to compel immediate payment of any balance due. <br />
