Therefore, when Dr. Fontenot <br /> individually and oi� behalf of her wholly owned company, Wonnamuse Institute for Advancing <br /> �ocio-Economics, Education, Culture and Ethnicity, Inc., entered into contracts with GEO <br /> Academies to provide services to and compensated by GEO Prep Charter School, GEO Mid-City <br /> Charter School, and G�O Next Generation HS Charter School, Dr, Fontenot violated La. R.S. <br /> 42:1113B. <br /> If this matter proceeded to a public hearing before the Etl�ics t�djudicato�•y Board, and the <br /> Ethics Adjudicatory Board faund a violation of the Code of Governtnental Fthics, the Ethics <br /> Adjudicatory Board could impose a fine of up ta $10,000 for each violation of the Code. In this <br /> particular situation,it is the conclusion of the Baard that the ihterest of the public would be served <br /> by, and the parties have agreed to resolving this matter arnicably through #he publication of�iis <br /> Consent Opinion with the imposition of a�5,000 civil penalty�gainst Linda Fontenat. <br />
