R.S. <br /> 42:1141 C(3)(f). <br /> III. <br /> FINDINGS OF FACT: <br /> 1. <br /> On February 8, 1993, GEO Foundation was incorporated as a domestic non-profit <br /> corporation in California. On June 12, 2013, GEO Foundation registered with the Louisiana <br /> Secretary of State to do business in the State of Louisiana. GEO Foundation is an educational <br /> organization that supports a network of four charter schools in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. <br /> 2. <br /> On November 22,2013,GEO Academies EBR("GEO Academies")was registered with the <br /> Louisiana Secretary of State as a non-profit corporation. GEO Academies' articles of incorporation <br /> state its purposes as the following: "...operating a charter school(s) in the state of Louisiana... <br /> supporting said charter school(s) by recruiting, cultivating, and maintaining local community <br />
