OBJECTIONS TO CANDIDACY

Please be advised that La. R.S. 18:492 and La. R.S. 18:463 provides that the Louisiana Board of Ethics may object to the candidacy of a person who, on qualifying for elected office, erroneously certifies that he does not have any outstanding fines, fees, or penalties pursuant to the Louisiana Code of Governmental Ethics or Campaign Finance Disclosure Act. The Louisiana Board of Ethics may object to your candidacy for elected office as long as any late fee order and/or judgment remains unsatisfied.
