Disclosures for Lobbying on behalf of a
Foreign Adversary or a Foreign Corporation

La R.S. 24:53.1 requires that before engaging in lobbying activity in Louisiana on behalf of a foreign adversary as defined in La R.S. 24:51(9), any person who participates in such lobbying shall file a disclosure with the Louisiana Board of Ethics. (Effective Dec. 1, 2025)

La R.S. 24:53.2 requires that any person who lobbies on behalf of a foreign corporation or any entity whose headquarters or principal place of business is located in a nation or country identified in 15 CFR Part 791.4, as revised from time to time, shall file a disclosure with the Louisiana Board of Ethics. (Effective Dec. 1, 2025)
